Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Reports to: General Manager

POSITION:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for developing the studio’s social media content with the aim of increasing brand awareness and the studio’s success. The Social Media Coordinator must have a passion for social media marketing, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team member who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness. This position is for two YogaSix studios in Williamsville and Orchard Park.

DUTIES:

• Create captivating content for studios social media sites
• Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies
• Developing and overseeing competitions, online giveaways, and campaigns to draw attention to the studios
• Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments and social media posts under direction of the General Manager
• Work with sales and education to create a holistic and effective online marketing strategy

  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • May be required to work evenings and weekends to obtain video content needed.
  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car.
  • May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
