Associate Attorney

A well-established law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle litigation matters across various practice areas, including personal injury, medical malpractice, commercial litigation, and class actions. This role involves managing cases from discovery through trial preparation, conducting depositions, and appearing in court. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 / year DOE

Associate Attorney Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases from initial discovery to trial preparation
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
• Participate in depositions and court appearances
• Assist partners with complex litigation matters and case strategy
• Maintain organization and workload balance while handling multiple cases
• Engage in regular check-ins with partners to assess progress and workload
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to develop legal strategies
  
  

Associate Attorney Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in litigation, including class actions, personal injury, medical malpractice, or commercial litigation
• Experience conducting depositions and making court appearances
• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York (New Jersey bar required)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases effectively
