Salary Range : $95,000 - $110,000 / year DOE
Automation Controls Engineer Responsibilities :
- Design, program, and implement custom automation solutions using PLCs, from initial schematic design to final programming
- Develop electrical schematics and bill of materials for each project
- Collaborate with clients' electrical teams to align automation requirements and specifications
- Write and test ladder logic and PLC code to ensure proper machine functionality
- Commission and troubleshoot machines, both onsite and remotely, to confirm system performance meets specifications
- Participate in limited client travel for machine commissioning, with some remote support capability
- Engage with internal engineering team and customers to address and resolve unique technical challenges
