A booming construction contracting company is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team in Sacramento, CA. This role is critical in supporting the construction management side of our business, handling contract administration, bid coordination, vendor management, and light accounting duties. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a small, close-knit team. This is a stable, long-term role suited for someone who thrives in a steady, team-oriented environment.
Salary Range : $60,000 - $70,000 / year DOE
Contracts Manager Responsibilities :
- Assist in contract administration, including drafting, managing, and tracking contracts and change orders
- Coordinate and compile bid packages, source subcontractors, and manage bid documentation
- Prepare project proposals and review plans / specifications for key requirements
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement process
- Support field staff as needed, ensuring smooth project execution
- Handle some accounting tasks, including rent collection and financial documentation for the company s properties division
- Cross-train in payroll and accounts payable to serve as a backup when needed
- Maintain organized records of all contracts, bids, and related documents
