Director Of Business Development Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the multifamily and commercial construction sectors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, owners, and industry stakeholders
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute business growth strategies
- Represent the company at networking events, industry conferences, and client meetings
- Lead negotiations on contracts, proposals, and agreements
- Work closely with estimators and project teams to ensure alignment between sales and project execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to stay ahead of industry shifts
- 10 years of business development, sales, or leadership experience in construction
- Proven track record of securing multifamily construction projects in the local market
- Established network of contacts within the multifamily and commercial real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project lifecycle
- Experience using ProCore, Sage, and Microsoft Projects preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment
