Salary Range: $150,000 - $250,000 / year DOE
Employment Attorney Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 65 70 active employment law cases, including wage and hour class actions, PAGA claims, and FEHA cases involving retaliation, discrimination, and disability
- Draft and file complaints, handle discovery, and conduct depositions
- Represent clients in court appearances, arbitrations, and mediations
- Collaborate with clients, providing clear and timely updates on their cases
- Prepare and argue motions and oversee trial preparation
- Work through cases from initiation to settlement or resolution
- 3 5 years of experience in wage & hour class actions and PAGA cases; candidates with up to 10 15 years of experience will also be considered
- Strongly prefer plaintiff-side experience, though candidates with wage & hour defense experience will be considered
- Must be Barred in California and in good standing
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and meet deadlines
- Exceptional writing and legal research skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to maintain high-quality work without supervision
