Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 / year DOE
Legal Assistant Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- File and serve legal documents in federal and state courts
- Maintain legal calendars, track deadlines, and manage case timelines
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Bloomberg
- Provide litigation support to attorneys, primarily assisting two attorneys but supporting the entire firm as needed
- Organize and manage case files and legal documentation
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all written work
- Office administration duties, including managing vacation schedules, scheduling calendar invites for partners, and general office organization
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm, preferably in a litigation role
- Experience filing and serving documents in federal and state courts
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work onsite in Seattle, WA
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills
- Professional, polished demeanor and ability to work in a collaborative, high-expectation environment
- Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required
