Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant Requirements
- 2 years of litigation experience in areas such as insurance defense, employment, or construction litigation; antitrust experience a plus
- Proficiency in federal and state e-filing, specifically with systems like PACER or ECF
- Experience with calendaring and coordinating case schedules, including deadlines and depositions
- Knowledge of legal procedures, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Paralegal certificate or documented paralegal work experience (attestation)
- Manage multiple cases, tracking and organizing key deadlines and schedules
- Coordinate case calendars and prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct research, manage discovery processes, and oversee document review
- Collaborate closely with attorneys throughout all stages of case management
