Litigation Paralegal Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in plaintiff personal injury
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and the full Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with eFiling systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a heavy workload effectively
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to handling tasks and challenges
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Support an attorney with all aspects of case preparation, including discovery, filing, calendaring, and meeting deadlines
- Draft and prepare pre-trial documents and assist in trial preparation
- Meet with clients regularly, taking the lead on most client communications, especially in Spanish
- Work closely with legal assistants and medical records clerks to ensure smooth case management
- Ensure all filings are done accurately and on time using eFiling systems
