Master Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency, in accordance with dealership standards
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional service needs and estimated repair time
- Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
- Complete manufacturer training to stay updated on new technologies
- Mentor junior technicians and assist with complex repairs
- Document all work accurately for warranty and service records
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
- 3 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Must have experience with electronic diagnostic equipment and software
- Proven track record of performing repairs accurately and efficiently
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Experience in turning 40 hours of work weekly
- Strong proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and advanced repair equipment
- ASE certifications or equivalent manufacturer certifications are preferred
