A leading life insurance and executive compensation firm in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Non-Qualified Retirement Plan Administrator to join their team. Operating at the Director level, this role involves executing and facilitating all client administrative functions, reviewing plan documents, preparing client statements, processing checks, and maintaining databases. This is a fully remote opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of life insurance and non-qualified plans, excellent communication skills, and able to work under pressure.
Non-Qualified Retirement Plan Administrator Requirements :
5 years of experience in non-qualified executive benefit planning
Extensive knowledge of life insurance and non-qualified plans for both design and administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel at the intermediate level
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision yet able to collaborate well with others
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Local to the Phoenix area and willing to come in office periodically highly preferred
Non-Qualified Retirement Plan Administrator Responsibilities :
Enroll new participants into plans and input plans and into them the web-based platform
Record all incoming and outgoing transactions in the system
Maintain accurate records for non-qualified plan administration clients
Organize and keep all plan documents and enrollment forms up to date
Prepare quarterly and annual reports for employers and plan participants
Process investment allocation requests as directed by Registered Representatives
Run and request enforce ledgers for life insurance policies
Obtain account and surrender values for the platform
Provide annual statements and prepare annual plan reviews
Communicate with clients to assist with policy changes, such as ownership or beneficiary updates, address changes, and policy withdrawals, loans, or surrenders
Liaise with insurance carriers to gather information about client policies
Process allocation change requests at both employer and employee levels
Follow up with clients regarding bills and other inquiries
Handle FICA and Economic Benefit Reporting
Distribute deferral election forms
