Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 / year DOE
Plant Accountant Requirements
5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management
Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA designation is a plus
Strong proficiency in Excel
Experience In a Manufacturing Or Packaging Environment Highly Preferred
Knowledge of sales tax and ERP implementation experience a plus
Experience With AmTech Software Highly Preferred
Excellent analytical skills; highly detail oriented
Ability to work 100% onsite at their office in Nashville, IL
Plant Accountant Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making
Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and reporting requirements
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts
Monitor budget performance and provide updates as needed
Manage cash flow projections, execute AP/AR processes
Lead all aspects of inventory management and job costing
Work closely with plant personnel to ensure accurate inventory management
