Printing Press Operator Responsibilities
- Operate and manage a six-color Heidelberg offset printing press
- Perform machine setups, including startup, calibration, and adjustments
- Load paper and oversee production to ensure quality standards are met
- Utilize color measurement tools to maintain thickness and consistency
- Record production information using computer systems
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, air filter replacements, and cleaning
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve issues
- At least 1 year of experience operating offset printing presses
- Strong understanding of color management tools and techniques
- Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking
- Ability to work onsite in a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and teamwork
- Familiarity with systems like Nexus Workflow, ArtPro Power Stepper, and Adobe Creative Suite
