An innovative event production company in Tempe, AZ is searching for a proactive and experienced Business Development Sales Executive to drive new business growth and build strong client relationships. This role focuses on identifying and securing opportunities in event production, audiovisual services, trade shows, and marketing activations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hunter mentality, skilled in sourcing, developing, and closing deals while managing a robust sales pipeline. Business Development Sales Executive Requirements :

  • 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in event production, audiovisual services, trade shows, or marketing activations
  • Proven ability to source, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills with a hunter mentality
  • Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and hit aggressive sales targets
  • A strategic thinker who understands sales cycles, margins, and deal structures

Business Development Sales Executive Responsibilities :

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in corporate marketing, event planning, and brand activation teams
  • Consistently book and attend meetings with potential clients
  • Understand client needs and position services as the best solution
  • Develop customized proposals and present compelling sales pitches
  • Close business and exceed sales targets through strategic deal-making
  • Develop and execute a personal sales strategy to drive consistent revenue
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and deals in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution
