Job Overview
The primary function of the Clinical Supervisor or BCBA is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and/or other behavioral and social/communication challenges. As a Licensed Professional, you will design, supervise, and provide individualized treatment plans for consumers aligned with the components of Applied Behavior Analysis. The provided services will be within the experience and competence of the licensee. You will use intervention plans with measurable goals, review treatment on a weekly basis, and write and evaluate progress reports every six months.
Qualifications and Skills Include:
- Master’s Degree
- BCBA
- Experience with special needs, autism, and or ABA
- Knowledge of current methods and techniques of applied behavior analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain the security of sensitive, confidential, and privileged information
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word computer operating systems
- Ability to multi-task and have exceptional organizational skills
- Must be able to process letters, produce reports, and assist with compliance
Job Responsibilities:
- Authorization of consumer services
- Developing appropriate functional assessments
- Manage consumer cases
- Coordination with providers and agencies
- Coordination with family members
- Writing progress and evaluations
- Provide evidence-based intervention plans with goals
- File and record organization and maintenance
- Consult with and teach other instructional staff such as Case Managers and ABA Therapists.
- Supervise and manage Case Managers
- Parent and guardian training for the direct benefit of the consumer
- Follow the company policy handbook, manager directive, and any training received.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to deal with high stress
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit up to 10 hours
- Ability to bend or twist repetitively
