Job Overview:

• Assumption of all production planning, purchasing functions, shop floor scheduling, and inventory control functions.
Qualifications
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in business operations management, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Strong computer and analytical skills.
• Experience with material management, planning and scheduling, problem solving, leadership and quality control.
• Previous Experience in production, material planning, or working in a CNC Machine shop or equivalent manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing teams and directing work activities of others.
Responsibilities
• Establish competence in Acumatica’s ERP purchasing, production order and inventory control module.
• Maintain inventory items, bills of material, work centers, machines, and production order data into Acumatica.
• Take ownership of production scheduling and purchasing activities.
• Manage all aspects of product flow including outside service suppliers.
• Fully assume leadership of the shipping / receiving / assembly / deburring team. Demonstrate consistent awareness of customer due dates and communicate priorities to the team leaders to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Establish competence in Acumatica’s PFM, production scheduling system.
• Meet with self-directed team leaders routinely to equip them with information needed to execute the production schedule.
• Establish inventory cycle counting program to improve inventory accuracy.
• Design improved flow of materials throughout shop, designate and label inventory locations for materials in all stages of production.
• Release materials to production in controlled quantities.
• Eliminate surprise stock outs.
