Job Summary
The Confidential Resource Advisor for the Office of Institutional Equity & Compliance (OIEC) will provide confidential, privileged, and ongoing support to individuals who report experiencing interpersonal violence, including but not limited to sexual harassment, sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and stalking.

- Provide administrative support for the OIEC and related processes
- Maintain a physical presence on-campus for a minimum of one day per week to meet discreetly and privately with students or employees
- On-going availability for telephone or remote communication with students or employees on an as-needed basis
- Serve as campus liaison to the Sexual Assault Support Services of Mid-coast Maine (SASSMM) and Through These Doors
- Coordinate with OIEC regarding campus resources, supportive measures, and protective measures
- Support the educational and preventive work of Gender Violence Prevention and Health Education
Education/Skills Requirements
- Experience with advocacy work, including a demonstrated ability to effectively provide victim services or crisis support related to interpersonal violence
- Familiarity and comfort working with diverse groups, including but not limited to, international populations, those identifying as persons of color, LGBTQ , and other under-represented populations
- Preferred experience with Title IX, Title VI, Title VII, and/or the Maine Human Rights Act
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to hold confidential information
Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents
- Variable and flexible hours with a maximum eighteen hours of work per week, the majority of which may be done with a hybrid work schedule
- Mandatory minimum of five hours on campus (up to eight hours) per week for on-campus meetings with students or employees and for any on-campus OIEC administrative tasks
- On-going availability for telephone or remote communication with students or employees on an as-needed basis
- Attend relevant student and campus events on an ad hoc basis
- Forty hours of training on interpersonal violence prior to July 2025 (paid for by the College)
- Continuing education and professional development that includes twenty hours of educational training annually on issues related to awareness and prevention of interpersonal violence, and a trauma-informed responses
Standard Work Days and Hours
This is a part-time position working no more than 19 hours/week. The standard administrative hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm.
