What are the responsibilities and job description for the DCS Services Manager position at Bowen Center?
The DCS Services Manager will be responsible for tracking referral data and processing key information, facilitate requests for DCS Local Liaisons across all counties, provide coverage to the DCS Local Liaisons and the DCS Services Director, maintain accurate data measures and reports per DCS state standards, facilitate meetings in the absence of the DCS Services Director, monitor service outcomes, facilitates requests regarding billing issues tied to DCS referred clients, and to assist with various tasks.
- Maintain and promote a professional work atmosphere through positive behavior and communication with customers, clients, co-workers, supervisors, and DCS Staff.
- Works conscientiously to move consumers to less restrictive levels of care as soon as possible.
- Works to eliminate barriers to consumer access to necessary care.
- Evaluates medical necessity of consumers’ participation in current level of care.
- On-Call 24/7 for DCS related crisis calls and emergency referrals
- Maintain positive internal customer relations and collaborate with those customers to implement continuous quality improvement techniques and philosophy.
- Abide by all Center policies and procedures.
- Provide for staff training needs as identified through the staff development plan.
- Responsible to maintain positive working relations and rapport with the communities served.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science or related field with one year of directly related experience preferred
- High school diploma with 6 years of directly related experience
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Must be 21 years or older
