The Bowen Center seeks a dedicated and compassionate Patient Service Representative to provide exceptional customer service support to internal and external customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and educate patients through the admission process
- Verify patient information and check in patients for scheduled appointments
- Notify patients of insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
- Answer telephone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule patient appointments and manage clinical schedules
- Monitor account balances, payment plans, and collection reports
- Cross-train with county client services staff and assist with covering county offices as needed
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, minimum one year of office experience preferred, valid driver's license and active liability insurance required.
