Job Title: Staff Accountant
The Opportunity:
The Staff Accountant will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about varied accounting activities. Under the supervision of our staff, the Staff Accountant can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data, learn about bookkeeping, and assist with other accounting activities.

What You’ll Do:
· Assist with preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
· Post journal entries
· Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation
· Assist with company audits and reporting
· Reconcile balance sheet accounts
· Assist with preparing and analyzing trend information
· Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
Must-haves in a Candidate:
· Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
· 1-2 years successful work experience in general accounting, construction accounting preferred.
· Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles
· Attention to detail
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Ability to work in team environment or on individual projects
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
