Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist in the Client Accounting & Advisory Services Department (CAAS). The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for our clients accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, or relevant work experience
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, taxes, and regulations
Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and communication skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Responsibilities:
Process payroll for a designated group of clients accurately and on time
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Handle payroll inquiries from clients in a professional and timely manner
Reconcile payroll-related accounts
Assist with payroll audits and any related documentation as needed
Stay updated on payroll best practices and industry changes to ensure compliance
Pay range: $20-$25/hour
