Responsibilities
Pay: $20.00-$30.00/hour

Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare tax returns for individuals.
- Plan/prepare other tax compliance services as directed including trust returns and income tax extensions
- Scan and file tax documents into software for review.
- Become familiar with and effectively utilize software in assigned areas.
- Communicate concise and accurate project status updates to supervisors, managers, and partners.
- Approach daily responsibilities with the Bowers’ mission and client centric philosophy in mind.
- Learn the tax return process: information gathering, client follow-up, preparation, and completion.
- Develop the ability to identify, understand, and address accounting issues.
- Strengthen written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Actively participate in firm outings and activities as able.
- Active enrollment and a major in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Interest in pursuing a career in public accounting
- Preferably pursuing the 150-credit hour academic requirement towards CPA eligibility
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
