The Manager scopes, develops, plans, organizes, and manages scope, schedule, and costs of projects. They manage the many phases of a project(s) from inception, planning, development, and design through construction and closeout. They foster positive client relationships and directly interact with clients to negotiate contract terms, define scope, and maintain consistent communication. The Manager coordinates with the client, end users, stakeholders, subconsultants, and project team, and ensures that the documentation for project(s) is complete and thorough.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2-5 years of experience as a project manager, construction manager, designer, general contractor, superintendent, or engineer with increasing levels of responsibility.
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of project management principles, and engineering and construction practices.
- Certified Construction Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desirable.
- Able to operate computers using word processing, spreadsheet applications, web-based document control systems, etc. required.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to come up with timely and efficient solutions to complex problems and issues.
- Follow up, customer service skills, and oral / written communication skills a must.
- Able to multitask multiple projects and teams with exceptional organizational skills.
- Maintain effective work relationships with agencies, contractors, and general public.
- Ability to work outside occasionally in environmental, atmospheric, and sometimes hazardous conditions.
- Ability to work outside with increased noise levels and vibrations.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and conditions that are associated with construction and development projects.
- Positive service-oriented attitude toward the firm, our employees, and the clients.
