Job Title : GPS Technology Technician

Salary Range : $50,000 - $70,000 D.O.E.

Position Summary :

The Project Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by coordinating design, planning, and implementation efforts. This position serves as a bridge between project managers, field crews, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, on-schedule, and on-budget results.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Project Managers to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Create, prepare, and modify models for GPS technology used on heavy equipment to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

Coordinate with field teams to ensure plans are implemented accurately and efficiently.

Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure compliance with design specifications, and identify potential issues.

Assist in the preparation of bids, proposals, and cost estimates.

Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project requirements are met.

Track and report on project performance metrics, including progress updates, cost control, and resource allocation.

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality and efficiency.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Related job experience in construction, paving, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.

Proficiency with project management and GPS software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, or similar).

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
