Bowhead seeks a mid-level Electrical Engineer to provide technical and engineering support services at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in IN. The engineer will design, develop, and test electrical equipment for various applications.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for strategic fire control and navigation systems design and testing.
- Assist the Government with failure investigations and root cause analysis.
- Provide technical input and recommendations via reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering or STEM discipline.
- 2-5 years of technical experience with expertise in embedded computing and high reliability systems.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Twist, bend, and squat periodically.
Security Clearance Requirements
- Obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
- US Citizenship is required for Secret clearance at this location.
