OverviewCOMPLIANCE TRACKING SPECIALIST (VDEPT)Bowhead seeks a Compliance Tracking Specialist to join our team in Dahlgren, VA.ResponsibilitiesThe Compliance Specialist will be responsible for : Monitor and ensure adherence to DoD 8570 compliance standards across all relevant systems and personnel.Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify compliance with DoD 8570 directives.Maintain detailed records of certification statuses, training completion, and compliance reports.Provide guidance and support to team members on achieving and maintaining DoD 8570 compliance.Collaborate with IT security teams to implement necessary measures for compliance.Prepare compliance reports for management and stakeholders.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or BA / BS degree prefered Two (2) years of experience in computer operations, customer support, or another related area. Proven experience in tracking and managing compliance with DoD 8570 standards.Strong understanding of DoD 8570 directives and associated certification requirements.Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.Ability to conduct thorough audits and assessments.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and standards.DoD Directive 8570.1 Information Assurance Technical Level II certification required (i.e., Security CE).Physical Demands : Must be able to lift up to 10-20 poundsMust be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of timeMust be able to twist, bend and squat periodicallySECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS : Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.
