TECHNICAL WRITER / EDITOR (CESAM) :
Bowhead seeks a Technical Writer / Editor to join our team in Mobile, AL. The Technical Writer is responsible for researching, writing, and editing complex GIS technical documentation including, but not limited to, scopes of work, customer requirements documents, security-related documents, computing architecture diagrams, GIS product users guides, dredging specifications, standard operating procedures, project management plans, system design documents, flow charts, organizational charts.
Responsibilities :
- Other responsibilities include editing and customizing screenshots and other graphics for use in technical documents.
- The Technical Writer must maintain proficiency in document-development applications (including Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and graphics applications, such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Visio).
- Independent decision-making and sound judgment are required to determine writing and presentation style.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED : Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
