The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, managing, and implementing environmental projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing sustainable solutions to complex environmental challenges
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation, and environmental monitoring.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and prepare technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Design and implement pollution control and waste management systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address environmental concerns.
- Monitor environmental data and recommend improvements or solutions.
- Provide technical support for permitting, compliance, and remediation activities
- Develop sustainable engineering solutions and advise on best practices.
- Communicate findings and project updates to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Minimum of 7 years experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., EPA, RCRA, CERCLA, etc.).
- Proficiency in engineering design software and data analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS, MATLAB).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work in both office and field settings, sometimes in challenging conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:

- Experience with environmental site assessments (Phase I and II ESAs).
- Knowledge of air quality management, water resources engineering, or waste management.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and modeling software.
- Experience with planning, logistics, and fieldwork in remote locations.
Authorized Driver Requirement: Employee must have a valid driver’s license and three (3) year clean driving record. Employee must follow all Authorized Driver Policy and Procedures regarding approved vehicle usage.
