Overview
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Management Analyst, Journeyman
Bowhead seeks an experienced Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Management Analyst, Journeyman to support the PMA-263 International Team in PMA-263 Small Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Program Office. This position is hybrid and does require the individual to live within 50 miles of NAS Patuxent River, MD.
Responsibilities
- Supports the efforts and actions of the Case Manager/Program Managers/Team Lead for various Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
- With other members of the Security Cooperation team, and under direction of the Case Manager/Program Manager/Team Lead, assists the Case Manager in analyzing and managing all aspects of FMS casework in accordance with the Arms Export Control Act, the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) as well as applicable DoD Acquisition policy guidance.
Experience tracking FMS cases through the development and execution process.
- Experience with FMS case management support.
- Maintain accurate records of important meetings and schedules for implementing FMS strategies.
- Collect, complete, organize and interpret programmatic, technical, and financial data in support of FMS cases.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree with 3 to 10 years’ experience performing duties described in the functional description and a working knowledge of NAVAIR AMS Suite of Tools.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft TEAMS preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all in the workforce essential.
- Must be detailed oriented, organized and a quick learner.
- Must have an active Secret clearance.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
