Overview
Logistics Analyst (F3008 2025-):
Bowhead seeks a Logistics Analyst to support the NAVAIR Crew Served Weapons In-Service Engineering activity in Crane, IN. The Logistics Analyst will provide logistics management support related to Aircraft Gun Systems.
Responsibilities
Essential functions will include:
- Tracking of inventory in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) and locally established procedures for inventory accountability. Candidate will be responsible for approximately 1,000 line items of inventory.
- Responsible for movement of materials via local maintenance induction requests, local request for issue procedures, DD Form 1149 and DD Form 1348-1A transactions.
- Processing of MILSTRIP requisition requests via local procedures. This will include development of Purchase Request documents, tracking of order status/follow up actions, receipt processing, and inventory updates.
- Management of HAZMAT inventory in compliance with local procedures.
- Management of calibrated tools/hand tools inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (prefered) and one (1) to five (5) years of experience. Experience may be subsituted in liue of education.
- Must be able to obtain forklift certification.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
