UIC Alaska seeks a skilled Tactical Systems Operations Manager to join our team in Aleutian Islands, AK. About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills to fill this position. As a Tactical Systems Operations Manager, you will be responsible for organizing research of foreign government requirements, preparing Letters of Acceptance, and conducting technical reviews. You will also be required to calculate manpower for FMS cases and develop unique FMS case notes.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize research of foreign government requirements and identify key stakeholders
- Prepare Letters of Acceptance and estimate system life cycle costs
- Conduct technical reviews and analysis for Letters of Request
- Calculate manpower for FMS cases and develop strategies to optimize resource allocation
- Develop unique FMS case notes and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate total package advanced planning for weapon systems and ensure seamless integration
- Vet release of FMS country-requested equipment and ensure compliance with regulations
- Process and track requisitions and forecasts congressional notifications
- Develop logistics program activities and coordinate efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in tactical systems operations
- Experience resolving complex problems and analyzing data to inform strategic decisions
- Ability to prepare and brief senior management on key findings and recommendations
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in database systems and quality customer service experience
- Familiarity with C5ISR Systems equipment and military experience (a plus)
Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands
The work environment is office-based with computer stations and desks with adequate lighting. Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
