Overview
Test Equipment Technician I (MMAC-2025-22507):
Bowhead seeks to network with a Test Equipment Technician I for an upcoming proposal effort in Oklahoma City, OK. If awarded the contract provider is to supply test equipment maintenance and calibration support for the National Airspace System (NAS), and to other government agencies in accordance with terms outlined in interagency agreements and service orders.
Responsibilities
Job duties to include but not limited to:
- Calibrate various test equipment, including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, logic analyzers, radar test sets, communication and ILS test sets, multimeters, power meters, power sensors, phase meters, signal and function generators, frequency counters, and LCR analyzers.
- With supervision, test, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, modify, install, and calibrate standard and non-standard test equipment.
- Assist in maintaining calibration records and supporting documentation.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Precision Measurement Equipment (PME) certification from a Military Technical School, OR Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Electronics OR, Certified PME training recordMinimum
- 2 years of experience in calibration and repair of electronic test equipment.
- Required skills or certifications:
- Basic understanding of metrology principles and calibration procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO-9001/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 standards.
- Ability to work under supervision and follow detailed procedures.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using computer systems to document calibration activities.
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Public Trust level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Public Trust clearance at this location.
