Estate Planning Team Member Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Specialist to join our estate planning team at Bowie & Jensen LLC. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of estate administration and accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the estate planning team by providing expert services, including document drafting, research, and filing.
- Review and analyze legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision.
- Manage project deadlines and conduct research under attorney guidance.
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for meetings, hearings, and trials.
- Organize electronic case files, monitor calendars, meet deadlines, and confirm case status with attorneys.
- Administer electronic correspondence, legal documents, and calendars.
- Carry out administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Paralegal certification strongly preferred.
- LAW FIRM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
- Financial statement reading ability required.
- Guardianship litigation experience preferred.
- Expertise in Microsoft Suite and Adobe required.
- Highly organized with exceptional multitasking abilities.
- Able to work under direction and independently.
- Proactive in improving team efficiency.
