JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for all phone calls that come in. You are the first point of contact on the phone, for our facilities. You will be responsible for booking parties and special events and ensure guests are satisfied. Be fully customer focused while on the phone. Address any needs our customers have. Work to overcome any issues our guests are facing. Get feedback of their experience and what we can do to improve as a business. Be reliable, outgoing and maintain an upbeat attitude. Pay attention to the customers/employee and their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: · Complete company required training including Anti Harassment class through BPAA & any other courses that are required for the position, in a timely manner · Learn and understand how to use TrippleSeat, our event planning platform · Coordinate events with each centers management, using grids and layouts for each day · Answer all phone calls , faxes and emails in a timely fashion, verify location guest is calling about, setting up events on our online booking platform, and fully complete contracts to standards · Identify the client’s requirements and expectations for each event. · Go over updated layout with manager on duty for specific location prior to event · Make sure meal sheets are updated and emailed out day prior to event · Be able to explain prices & packages · Maintain a positive, smiling attitude, while speaking to all customers · Ability to upsell and add on items based on customer needs · Listen, ask questions, and empathize · Be knowledgeable about all packages, services and products that the centers and restaurants sell · Be able to communicate proficiently · Process transactions, Accepting deposits to hold event times, and accepting final payments 72 hours before start of event · Learning and becoming proficient with the proper script to answer phones and assist customers through entire booking experience, party times and verifying customers experience after event is completed · Call back events to make sure guests had a great experience celebrating their event · Perform cleaning activities such as bussing and cleaning tables between orders, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc., or any other duties as requested by management · MUST show up to work in proper uniform, on time, ready, willing & able to perform all shift duties · Ability to apply common sense and understanding to daily job activities and customer interactions
