The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in litigation matters with opening and closing matters, drafting legal documents and correspondence, assisting attorneys with preparation for depositions, mediation, and trial, filing and e-filing documents with courts, as well as other administrative duties including copying, scanning, handling incoming and outgoing mail, organizing, and maintaining case files and related indexes, answering phones, scheduling meetings, and calendaring deadlines. Candidates should have excellent computer skills; strong customer service, written and verbal communication and organizational skills; attention to detail and ability to multi-task. Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting and handle a large workload for a busy defense litigation practice.
A minimum of five years of relevant litigation experience is required. A solid work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy is a must, and ability to follow directions and consistently produce error-free, high quality work product. Must pass all required background checks, including criminal.
