Position Title: Line Service Technician
Supervisor: Flight Support Supervisor
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Towing, securing, and marshaling of aircraft
- Wing walking when aircraft movement is needed
- Cleaning aircraft daily, and for each aircraft inspection
- Fueling of aircraft
- Perform quality control checks on fuel truck
- Maintain ground support equipment for the flight center
- Communicates with other employees/pilots using radios to provide excellent customer service
- Cleaning the BGFC facility as needed.
- Occasional support of functions at the Dispatch desk, including, but not limited to dispatch of aircraft, etc…
- When appointed by Supervisor, represent the Flight Support department on BGFC’s Safety Council
- Other duties as assigned
Physical/Environmental Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling.
- Stepping up/down on ladders, tugs, and fuel truck
- Standing/walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. routinely and up to 100 lbs. occasionally
- Must have high situational awareness
- Frequent work in small places, extreme temperatures, heights above six feet and noisy environments.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Pass drug and alcohol testing, and submit to random testing when required
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
