Days of Employment: 182 for full year

7 hours per day

  

Performance Responsibilities:

 

  1. Assist administrative staff in all areas of student management as assigned.
  1. Supervise in the cafeteria area before school starts.
  1. Assist students that are tardy.
  1. Monitor halls during class changes.
  1. Monitor restrooms throughout the day.
  1. Escort students as needed. 
  1. Supervise cafeteria during lunch.
  1. Cover classes for teachers that have meetings and emergency situations.
  1. Assist during emergency drills.
  1. Monitor the parking lot during afternoon dismissal.
  1. Assist school administrators in whatever capacity that is needed.
  1. Maintain a presence in the common areas of school throughout the day to ensure that students are aware of supervision.
  1. Administer health services to students as necessary including, but not limited to, the administration of medication; the operation, maintenance, or health care through the use of medical equipment; or the administration of clinical procedures.
  1. Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations by interacting effectively with and demonstrating respect for the views, rights and contributions of parents, teachers and other school personnel.
  1. Maintain appropriate professional appearance. 
  1. Act as a consistent positive public relations agent for school and district programs and activities.
  1. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding individual students and their families.
  1. Implement and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, administrative guidelines, and directives as adopted by the Board of Education, Principal, Administrative Staff, Superintendent and School Based Decision Making Council. 
  1. Maintain acceptable personal attendance without repeated unexcused absences, tardiness, absences without notification, or abuse of sick leave.
  1. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or Superintendent of Schools.
