Performance Responsibilities:

 

  1. Serve as elementary and secondary instructional supervisor including coordinating districtwide work of the Instructional Coaches.

  2. Coordinate the development, implementation,and evaluation of the elementary and secondary curriculum.

  3. Plan, budget and supervise the district Title I, Title II, Title III, Perkins,Title IV, Multi-lingual (ML), Migrant, Early Entry to K, Extended School Services, Refugee and Immigrant, and Teranga Academy programs in collaboration with the District Finance Director.

  4. Prepare, disseminate and collect data for private and homeschool participation in federal programs.

  5. Serve as the District Assessment Coordinator.

  6. Serve as district textbook coordinator.

  7. Coordinate the Ascend Teacher Internship Program.

  8. Coordinate Professional Learning across the district.

  9. Coordinate the district program of Gifted and Talented Education.

  10. Coordinate the district program of library services.

  11. Work cooperatively with the Director of Special Programs in the development and implementation of the School Comprehensive Improvement Plans.

  12. Coordinate Extended School Services (ESS).

  13. Adhere to the professional Codes of Ethics adopted by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.

  14. Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations by interacting effectively with and demonstrating respect for the views, rights and contributions of parents, teachers and other school personnel.

  15. Maintain appropriate professional appearance. 

  16. Act as a consistent positive public relations agent for school and district programs and activities.

  17. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding individual students and their families.

  18. Implement and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, administrative guidelines, and directives as adopted by the Board of Education, Principal, Administrative Staff, Superintendent, and School Based Decision Making Council. 

  19. Maintain acceptable personal attendance without repeated unexcused absences, tardiness, absences without notification, or abuse of sick leave.

  20. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
