Performance Responsibilities:
- Serve as elementary and secondary instructional supervisor including coordinating districtwide work of the Instructional Coaches.
- Coordinate the development, implementation,and evaluation of the elementary and secondary curriculum.
- Plan, budget and supervise the district Title I, Title II, Title III, Perkins,Title IV, Multi-lingual (ML), Migrant, Early Entry to K, Extended School Services, Refugee and Immigrant, and Teranga Academy programs in collaboration with the District Finance Director.
- Prepare, disseminate and collect data for private and homeschool participation in federal programs.
- Serve as the District Assessment Coordinator.
- Serve as district textbook coordinator.
- Coordinate the Ascend Teacher Internship Program.
- Coordinate Professional Learning across the district.
- Coordinate the district program of Gifted and Talented Education.
- Coordinate the district program of library services.
- Work cooperatively with the Director of Special Programs in the development and implementation of the School Comprehensive Improvement Plans.
- Coordinate Extended School Services (ESS).
- Adhere to the professional Codes of Ethics adopted by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board.
- Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations by interacting effectively with and demonstrating respect for the views, rights and contributions of parents, teachers and other school personnel.
- Maintain appropriate professional appearance.
- Act as a consistent positive public relations agent for school and district programs and activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of information regarding individual students and their families.
- Implement and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, administrative guidelines, and directives as adopted by the Board of Education, Principal, Administrative Staff, Superintendent, and School Based Decision Making Council.
- Maintain acceptable personal attendance without repeated unexcused absences, tardiness, absences without notification, or abuse of sick leave.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.
