This role involves managing system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements for FMS, HCM Payroll, and third-party vendors while ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Responsibilities include collaborating with users and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and recommend system enhancements, as well as overseeing data reporting through the creation of accurate, custom queries and reports. The role provides daily support for FMS, HCM Payroll, and third-party systems, addressing issues and troubleshooting complex problems. Additional duties include conducting comprehensive testing for new developments and upgrades, resolving identified issues, and staying updated on technology trends to drive system efficiency. Maintaining detailed documentation and delivering ongoing user training on system updates and best practices are also essential components of this role.
Essential Functions
- Lead or support projects for new module implementations, system upgrades, or process improvements involving FMS, HCM Payroll, and third-party vendors. Oversee timelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure updates or implementations are completed on time and within scope. Track milestones and provide regular status updates to management.
- Collaborate with functional users and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for FMS, HCM Payroll, and third-party systems. Analyze current processes, recommend improvements, and ensure system configurations meet organizational goals.
- Manage and oversee data reporting for FMS, HCM Payroll, and third-party vendor systems, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of data. Design and develop custom reports and queries using system tools, macros, and other resources to meet business needs effectively.
- Deliver comprehensive daily support for FMS, HCM, and third-party vendor production issues, ensuring seamless functionality and efficient issue resolution. Serve as the escalation point for complex challenges, skillfully diagnosing and troubleshooting system problems across FMS, HCM, and third-party vendor integrations.
- Perform unit testing for development projects, vendor upgrades, and maintenance packs, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered. Assist functional users with user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration testing, and pre-production testing. Track and document issues identified during testing, ensuring all are resolved before implementation.
- Stay updated on new features, industry best practices, and emerging trends in both financial and Payroll technology. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and functionality of FMS and HCM Payroll systems.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and customizations, providing users with a reliable reference for troubleshooting and operational guidance. Continuously update training materials and documentation to reflect system changes and evolving business requirements.
