Overview:
Are you an organized and detail-oriented paralegal? We are actively seeking a Discovery Paralegal to join our team in either our Phoenix (AZ), Charlotte (NC), or Columbia (SC) location. You will be a key player on our team, providing the essential support needed to ensure our legal processes run smoothly.
Our paralegals are integral to our case teams, appreciated for their ideas and contributions. We offer a casual, fun, and collaborative office environment with excellent opportunities for mentorship. This position is initially in the office M-F, however, there may be an opportunity to move to a hybrid schedule, allowing for a balance of work-from-home and in-office workdays.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, analyze, and summarize data
- Manage electronic files to ensure information is organized according to standards utilizing systems such as iManage
- Draft responses
- Provide support and documentation for drafting responses
- Create and maintain complex databases and applications
- Produce and manage document productions
Qualifications:
- Advanced research and writing skills
- Superior client service skills
- Meticulous, diligent, personable, and highly motivated
- Capable of responding quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Able to anticipate challenges and exercise independent judgment to make sound decisions and take effective action
- Deliver high quality work product and take ownership, responsibility, and accountability
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Relativity and iManage highly preferred but not required
- Comfortable with learning new technology and processes
- Must be familiar with and able to follow client billing guidelines, enter and record accurate billing entries
- Proven success in meeting attorney expectations
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years paralegal experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate is required
- 2 years of E-Discovery experience preferred
