Rework Forklift Operator- Manufacturing/Warehouse setting: Starting pay $16.00 per hour with opportunity for advancement!

Successful candidates possess a stable work history with good employment references; the ideal candidate possessing at least one to two years in a manufacturing/warehouse setting operating a forklift and scanners/computers to move product within the system accurately while following all forklift and warehouse safety protocols. Must be self-motivated to complete tasks independently or work well as a team. Position requires a positive attitude and taking pride in doing a good job. We WIN together!
Physical Requirement: Must possess good mobility and flexibility including standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting as well as lifting up to 50 pounds frequently. Other physical requirements are the ability to be comfortable in a fast paced environment while frequently getting on/off a sit down forklift to assist with product inspections and other duties as assigned by project management.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with OSHA Standards and Company Safety Policy.
- Perform rework tasks on products as required including re-stacking, hand palletizing with repetitive 35 lb. lifting while ensuring quality standards are achieved.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and rework activities which includes scanning and documentation in Excel software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook Email.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols while handling machinery and materials.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to manage inventory and optimize workflow to meet production goals.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain operational efficiency and reporting any equipment malfunctions.
- Must be TEAM oriented to do whatever is necessary to add value to our successful teams.
- Valid forklift operator and a valid driver's' license with minimum violations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow operating instructions.
- Good physical stamina.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills within a teamwork oriented environment.
