Psychological Testing
Seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide testing and/or counseling services to primarily children, adolescents, and/or adults in a school and/or office setting, as well as for our Raleigh and Wake Forest offices. The emphasis of your referrals would be children and adults seeking educational testing, ADHD Testing, Learning Disabilities Testing, Autism Testing for children and adults.
We are a small private practice with offices in Raleigh, Wake Forest, Rolesville, Wilmington, and Cary. We are expanding to other locations across the triangle and offering school-based services through Wake County. Clinicians can work some days in the office and some in the schools. Locations and school preferences are determined by where the therapist is interested in working.
We offer a strong team of therapists with a variety of expertise and seek the same for our new therapists. Prefer candidates with a passion for working with children of all ages and their families. Practice owner has strong play therapy training and experience and can provide supervision.
We do also have a need for couples therapy, family therapy, EMDR therapy, DBT Therapy, Brainspotting, Trauma Focused CBT, and other specialized approaches. We seek the most qualified candidates with extensive specialized training and the willingness to continue ongoing trainings.
Ability to bill BCBS and Aetna is preferred. Bowman Family Services currently serves children (specializing in art and play therapy), adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We offer Christian counseling, art therapy, play therapy, expressive arts therapy, yoga therapy, and mindfulness training. Licensed to practice in the state of NC in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, family therapy, or other related human service field required.
Minimum of 2 years experience providing counseling services is preferred. Must be able to provide work primarily in an office and school setting.

We highly value the hard work and dedication of our staff and will pay according to license type and years of experience in the field.
We have a strong need for someone who can work full-time, hours seeing 25-30 clients per week, but will consider part-time candidates as well.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide psychotherapy and mental health counseling, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and interns, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and best practices in patient care.
- Engage in crisis intervention and support for patients with PTSD and autism.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient progress.
- Facilitate both inpatient and outpatient therapy sessions, including play therapy and Christian counseling as needed.
