Position Overview
We’re looking for a Tier 2-3 Escalation Systems Engineer with deep experience in Microsoft environments and cloud platforms like Office 365 and Azure. You’ll be a key player in designing, maintaining, and supporting client infrastructure across both on-prem and cloud environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on implementation experience, and the ability to handle escalated technical issues with confidence and precision.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues involving servers, cloud services, and business applications
- Deploy and configure Microsoft environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO
- Handle escalations from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams, owning issues from start to resolution
- Execute cloud migrations and upgrades involving Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery and technical resolutions
- Participate in planning, testing, and validating upgrades and migrations
- Contribute to best practices, documentation, and training materials for both internal and client use
- Maintain technical documentation and system configuration records
- Stay current with certifications and continuously improve your technical expertise
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably in an MSP or fast-paced IT support environment
- Strong background in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Azure administration
- Scripting skills (PowerShell preferred) for automation and system management
- In-depth knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and GPO
- Hands-on experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with REST APIs, database administration, and line-of-business applications
- Ability to lead and support software upgrade/migration projects
- Clear and effective communication with technical and non-technical users
- Willingness to take ownership and see issues through to resolution

- Experience with application performance and monitoring tools
- Understanding of network concepts commonly used in SMB environments
