Senior System Administrator – MSP | Hybrid | Norwalk, CT

We are a fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Norwalk, CT, seeking a Senior System Administrator to join our team. This is a hybrid role (2–3 days WFH) supporting a wide range of small to mid-sized business clients across various industries. You'll play a key role in both day-to-day escalated support and ongoing project work.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Handling Level 2/3 escalated support tickets across client environments
- Leading and assisting with infrastructure projects: migrations, deployments, upgrades
- Supporting Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Azure, firewalls, and virtualization platforms
- Working directly with clients to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborating with internal engineers to improve systems and client satisfaction
- Documenting work clearly and efficiently using RMM/ticketing platforms]
What We’re Looking For:
- MSP experience is required – must be comfortable supporting multiple clients
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization (VMware or Hyper-V)
- Hands-on experience with firewall deployments/configuration (SonicWall, FortiGate, Meraki, etc.)
- Familiarity with RMM, PSA tools (e.g., ConnectWise, IT Glue)
- Solid networking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients
