What You’ll Do:
As a Senior System/Projects Engineer, you’ll take the lead on designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure projects while serving as a technical escalation point for the support team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive IT support and technical project consulting to a diverse range of business clients.
- Manage back-end systems and consult with end users to resolve technical issues.
- Plan, implement, and deploy computer, server, and cloud-based solutions tailored to client needs.
- Handle network reconfigurations and printer setups to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide VoIP deployment, firewall management, virus/malware cleanup, and ongoing help desk support for end users.
- Configure and install computer systems, as well as various Windows servers.
- Manage migrations for M365 and G-Suite environments.
- Build and migrate Azure environments to meet business objectives.
- Implement virtualization solutions using Hyper-V or VMware, including setting up new infrastructure and completing physical-to-virtual (P2V) migrations.
Qualifications:
- Must have: Experience working with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Expertise in VMware or Hyper-V virtual environments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) migrations.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with networking (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN setup and management.
- Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Datto, or similar).
- Knowledge of security best practices, including firewall configuration and antivirus solutions.
- Experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools like ConnectWise, Kaseya, or SolarWinds.

Salary : $100,000 - $115,000
