Location: In-Person | Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 Bonus Opportunities
About the Role
A fast-growing Microsoft and Google Cloud partner is hiring a skilled Systems Engineer (Level 2.5) to join their expanding technical support team. This is a hands-on, client-facing position perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in hybrid cloud environments, and is ready to take ownership of escalated support and small-to-mid-sized IT projects.
You'll play a key role in delivering advanced support across Microsoft ecosystems and hybrid infrastructure environments. If you’ve got around 5 years of experience handling escalations, managing client environments, and leading technical initiatives—this is a great opportunity to grow with a modern, cloud-first company.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary technical contact for smaller client accounts, developing strong, trusted relationships
- Mentor and support L1 team members, providing guidance and technical expertise
- Troubleshoot and manage a wide range of IT systems including networks, servers, desktops, phones, and cloud solutions
- Optimize and maintain Microsoft Azure environments with a focus on security, compliance, and cost efficiency
- Use Intune and other tools to manage endpoint security, patching, and deployments
- Resolve complex support issues across Level 1, 2, and some Level 3, primarily within Microsoft-based systems
- Lead small to medium-sized client projects focused on improving security, cloud collaboration, and IT efficiency
What You Bring
- 5 years of hands-on experience in technical support or systems engineering (MSP experience preferred)
- Strong background in Microsoft technologies, especially Azure, Office 365, and Windows environments
- Experience with Intune or similar endpoint management platforms
- Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, networking, and cloud services
- Familiarity with compliance and security best practices in hybrid IT environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients
- Comfortable leading projects independently and mentoring junior techs
