">Purpose
">As a Transportation Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of traffic studies, water, storm, and sanitary sewer studies, and construction plans, civil engineering site plans, and roadway plans for construction.
">Responsibilities:

- Work under direct supervision of an experienced professional and follow established procedures and clearly defined processes. ">
- Collaborate with multiple departments and peers within the organization and participate in co-op program learning and development opportunities. ">
- Conduct research on demographics, transportation issues, and best practices. ">
- Request, compile, and organize data from various sources. ">
- Map data using ArcGIS and create visualizations for presentations. ">
- Prepare written reports and presentations for stakeholders. ">
- Assist with fieldwork, including data collection and mapping. ">
- Develop skills in urban and graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp. ">
- Contribute to the development of transportation engineering documents. ">
- Support project administration tasks and assist with deliveries and office errands. ">
Required Skills and Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent required. ">
- Pursuing or graduated from BS in Civil Engineering, with an interest/background in transportation planning/engineering. ">
- Proficiency with ArcGIS and Adobe Creative Suite required. ">
- Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic, HCS, or other traffic analysis software a plus. ">
- Must be at least 18 years old. ">
