What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Detailer - Experienced position at Bowser Automotive, Inc.?
Bowser Chevrolet in Monroeville is seeking a Detailer who will ensure that customer and used vehicles are reconditioned to look like new vehicles. Detailing and prepping cars for the showroom and delivery are part of daily responsibilities. The Lead Recon Technician will train new specialists in areas of reconditioning vehicles, will assist in dispatching work among recon specialists and will quality check each vehicle to meet Bowser standards.
The Essential Responsibilities:
- Oversee to ensure quality of each and every vehicle meets Bowser standards.
- Informs Detail Manager of any issues relating to reconditioning department.
- Detail and prep cars for the showroom and delivery.
- When necessary, assist in prepping new vehicles for showroom and delivery.
- Occasionally retrieve and/or deliver vehicles to other dealerships.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
- Experience in Reconditioning vehicles
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong command of detailing concepts and products that will produce the best results.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
- Good judgment.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing/bending/stooping/walking no more than 8 hours per work day.
- Ability to work in wet and noisy environment.
- Ability to lift no more than 50 lbs. at a time.
