Monday-Friday Days -- Part-time varied 24 hours a week.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Assists nursing staff with routine patient care services. Receives patients, obtains vital signs and provides courteous assistance to patients, family members, and guests. Updates and retrieves patient information in computer-based patient record systems. Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner. Acts as part of an assigned care team. Assists the RN in providing care to patients in the Cardio-Pulmonary Rehab department. Due to changing organizational needs, work hours may vary. If needed may float to other areas of the hospital.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
License/Certifications: Valid and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within 3 months of hire and maintains certification.
Post-offer/per-employment background check and drug screen are required.
