Seasonal Weed Control Sprayer I and II (Multiple Openings)
Box Elder County has multiple openings for Seasonal Weed Control Sprayer I and Seasonal
Weed Control Sprayer II. The weed control sprayer/operator performs semi-skilled duties in
the operation and maintenance of equipment; must mix and apply pesticides according to
label specifications; keeps detailed records of work activities and chemical applications;
attends training sessions and must pass the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food Non-
Commercial pesticide applicator license exam; sprayer/operator will report equipment
failures and problems to supervisor; operate trucks, ATVs, equipment, sprayers and GPS
units; ensures proper use of safety equipment, and performs other related duties as
required. The Weed Control Sprayers II will be required to operate Tractors, Mowers, Paint
Roads and become certified flaggers. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older by start
date.
